Why did you decide to study coding?
Growing up without female tech role models, the tech world seemed out of reach. Instead, I first pursued a different career but soon realized that I needed a change. That's when my interest in tech sparked again. I took the leap and learned how to code. Coding is a powerful skill that lets you build impactful products to solve real-world problems. Now it's my turn to be the role model I didn't have: to empower other girls and women to do the same.
Impostor syndrome. As a woman in a male-dominated field, I often felt like I didn't belong. In the world of software development where there's always more to learn, it's easy to doubt your own skills. Overcoming these doubts is an ongoing challenge, but I'm learning to trust in my skills.
Which support did you receive in your career to lead you where you are today?
In my first coding job, I found an amazing team that supported me to learn and grow. I also met incredible female mentors who understood the ups and downs we face as women in tech.
